Train with By-Pass to drive C1 (7.5t), C (HGV 2) and C+E (HGV 1) vehicles.
We have a fleet of modern training vehicles that include articulated & rigid lorries, C1 (7.5 tonne), C1 Ambulance and C1 & Trailer meaning whatever your vehicle training requirements – we can help. Our Ambulance & Crafter vehicles are 6 speed manual vehicles & our larger LGV lorries are all automatic Volvos.
All of our LGV courses are available weekly on demand. (Usually we can begin your course within 1-2 weeks of booking).
By-Pass are an approved DVSA Test Centre meaning we carry out the reversing test (3A) and the on road drive (3B) from our own sites.
*Since 2021 DVSA licencing changes now allow learners to go straight to C+E (Class 1/Artic) from B Category (Car licence) without the need to do C Category (Class 2/Rigid) first. Please call us for more details.
LGV / HGV Courses
LGV C Category
This course is tailored to fit each candidate before you even start your training. Our training is carried out in four hour lessons and we only ever train one to one (no cab sharing).

This course is tailored to fit each candidate before you even start your training. Our training is completed in four hour lessons and we only ever train one to one so we can focus on getting you ready for test day.

Corporate LGV Assessments
The assessment is a three hour, three stage process including daily checks, safe and courteous driving on the highway and time at our reversing area. It is designed to assess potential new drivers or perhaps as part of a post-accident process. The assessment is documented and a thorough report is provided upon completion.
Prices:
C+E (Articulated) £420 + VAT (per 4 hour session).
C Category (Rigid) £380 + VAT (per 4 hour session).
LGV C1 (7.5 tonne) Category (including Ambulance)
With a choice of VW Crafter Van or Mercedes Sprinter Ambulance this course is tailored to fit each candidate before you even start your training. Ideal for Ambulance/Paramedic training or perhaps driving a horse box. The training typically takes the form of 8, 12 or 16 hour courses (training & test) split over 2 or 3 days – we only ever train one to one. Following your initial phone call with us we can help guide you towards the right choice for you & assess how many lessons that you will need to achieve a first time pass.

Driving Refresher
If you are going back into driving for a career after a break our LGV Driving Refresher course can be used to update driver skills & to bring you up to date on any recent changes in legislation as well as focussing on any key area of your choice including reversing, manoeuvring, town driving or just a general refresh.
